Thanks, I'll go check it out.

The only good thing is, I saved all my fics (meaning printed them out, hard copy,) and my work in progress (except for one major story that was lost - the original hand written version that spanned over 50 pages - before it could be put to disk) was untouched. So, I can bring the Retreat back. The only thing I'd have to do is rescan in the books and rewrite the info pages. Which I might do one day.

And thanks for the compliment. There were many times I felt like no one visited the Retreat and I was only rambling to myself *raises her own mug in toast too to fond memories*

And the compliment was heartfelt. You had a TON of stuff on there that I loved poking through (the coloring book pages and the myriad fics, especially), and I miss being able to do that.

Yeah, I know they're a lot of work. I want to do one myself, but I'm a total ninny when it comes to stuf like this. I'm glad you kept you domain-name, though. You OWN it, right? That WILL make it easier to bring back The Retreat IF you ever decide to.

I've been so out of touch with the BM community it's a shame. And what's this about a new cartoon >erks her ears up< I really should get back onto the board . . . if only I could remember my password >.<

And thanks for the compliment. I felt, though, that there were better sites out there than mine. And yeah, it is a lot of work for one person to maintain a site (and I paid for it too.) The only thing I've kept is my domain name. gmretreat.com is still mine and always will be in case I do decide to put up another site.

And when/if that day comes, I'll let everyone know. For now, all I have is DA for my art and my journal for everything else.

Wow, I wondered what happened to it all. Lousy thing about your comp, my condolences.

And while I hope you do rebuild The Retreat, it was your site, and whether you decide to or not is up to you. I know that putting up and maintaining a website is a LOT of work (which is mainly WHY I haven't attempted one yet. THAT, and I want to find a good, reliable, FREE website).

And I loved it. It was one of my fave BMFM websites, of which there seem to be way too few these days. Maybe that will change when the new Biker Mice cartoon series takes off in Spring 2006. I hope.

Tell me about connection problems. I was disconnected WHILE I was typing >.< Plus the fact that, even on cable, DA is taking forever to load. And time is precious (even if I'm still out sick with this Influenza B.) Here's hoping things go better for you (And I agree, school does suck. At least it did when I was still in school.)

The provider went under without warning anyone. And the disk that I had stored the Retreat on was erased by my computer. Whether or not I try to rebuild it has yet to be seen. I'm glad at least someone liked it, though.

How come the Retreat went "boom"? I miss it. Are you going to try to put it back up on another website, or is it gone for good? Hope not; your site was one of the coolest out there?
